Popped in on a Sunday for dinner and the place was packed. We got a spot at the sushi bar. The chefs were friendly and engaging. Our server was TOP NOTCH. The food did not disappoint. We got the edamame, vegetable roll, California roll and spicy tuna. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back!
This is one of my favorite spots to have dinner and a cocktail in downtown Dunedin! The staff is always knowledgeable about new dishes on the menus and their staff seems to always remain consistent with quality and experience. It’s great for a date night. It’s great for an early dinner with the kids. It’s also great if you’re looking for a girls dinner out, to escape for a few hours. They have a beautiful bar area with many upgraded choices for cocktail lovers. Their cocktails are fabulous and they’re always making fun additions to the menu.
Dog friendly establishment. They have out door sitting front and side if the restaurant. Service was pretty good, informative and fast. Sat outside, and it was hot outside but the their server were very responsive and available at all times. The Rice with chicken was delicious, def my favorite part of the meal. The coconut shrimps were tasty! Flavors were just right. Def another favorite dish and I highly recommend. Drinks were good but lack alcohol. The draft veers options were highly limited but the few were good. Overall the spot was Def exceeded my expectations and def appreciate the service provided. I will return and hope yo be seated inside.
Ever had food that doesn't just fill you, doesn't just taste good, but actually makes you happy? That's every single thing I have eaten at Pisces. Let's start with the sushi: there's no wrong option. The rolls come about three inches wide (they look so thick) and are fantastic. Dog owner? They have a 5 dollar dog menu which is locally sourced and legitimately better than what I serve him at home, brilliant touch. I didn't even like sushi before I came here, and now I can't get enough. That's right, they make food so good they can change your palette. The staff are attentive, friendly, and yet don't rush you. An evening in Dunedin while the sun sets is meant to be enjoyed and they let you have every second. I hold Pisces as the gold standard for restaurants in Dunedin and come here when I want to treat myself or the missus.
Great sushi every time with immaculate presentation. Also has great specials and vegetarian options. Pretty place as well and friendly staff.
If you're looking amazing food or Sushi, look no further, Pisces Sushi and Global Bistro is it! I always start off with the Wasabi Caesar salad, the flavor is world class! Today we tried several different rolls. The Bubba Gump, Volcano, Aztec, and the Everything bagel roll. They were all amazing, I'd have to say that the Aztec roll was my favorite. I've been to a lot of Sushi places, and I really have to say, this one is top shelf! They source the freshest ingredients, I've been a few times and everything has been on point! I work in the seafood industry, and this is as fresh as it gets! Chef also brought out a roll that was made with scallops, I feel terrible for forgetting the name, but it was absolutely out of this world! I wish I could give it 10 stars, because I definitely would!
BUSSIN! The Mofongo Bongo roll will haunt me in my dreams that I can’t eat it everyday. The edamame gyoza were amazing as well. Chocolate tort was 10/10! In addition, my server Milly was FANTASTIC! I can’t wait to come back one day!
A must try place. Upon being seated we ordered the espresso martini and hot sake, both very tasty. And the sushi rolls were the best that I have ever tasted. Our party ordered the traditional Mexican, Alaskan, Veggie and Tampa which were all delicious. Then we ordered the specialty rolls which were mind blowing... ordered the Bubba Gump with shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, cucumber, sauce and crunchies. Also had the Aztec that had shrimp, avocado, and cucumber and topped with poppy seed bluefin tuna tataki, chimichurri, chipotle aioli, plantain chips, black bean, and corn pico de gallo. Wow!!! So different and delicious. Another sushi roll was the Firecracker With crab, jalapeno, avocado, and cucumber, topped with spicy bluefin tuna, chipotle aioli, kaji pepper, crunchies, scallion, habanero, and orange masago. Another Wow!! The edamame had an exceptional taste with togarashi sesame ponzu, salt and sesame seeds. The service was very friendly and they can accommodate allergies. Highly recommend when looking for excellent sushi.
